  • The cover of our comforter is made of 100% natural cotton fabric which makes it soft and breathable
  • Elegant box stitching style that prevents the filling from shifting and piping with four corner tabs to anchor the duvet cover
  • Down Proof is actually a misnomer.  A down cluster will not leak through fabric.  It is the tiny pieces of broken down clusters, known as "fiber", and feathers with their sharp pointy ends that will inexorably work their way through the fabric and into your space.  So, "fiber proof" or "feather proof" might be a more appropriate description, except for the fact that there is no fabric that is 100% fiber or feather proof

Care Instructions

Please see our recommendations below on how to clean and care for this product to maximize its function and durability: 
 

  • Cold Gentle Wash Cycle
  • Wash at 30 Degrees Celsius with Cold Water
  • Do not add any Additional Products
  • Do not soak for longer then 20 minutes
  • Do not use Bleach
  • Hang Dry In the Shade
  • Iron Low 120 Degrees Celsius
  • Use a mild detergent that does not contain any bleaching agents such as chlorine or peroxide.
  • Chlorine bleach can weaken natural fibers and may cause them to yellow. If necessary, use an oxygen-based bleach. We recommend LeBlanc Linen Wash , Laundress Signature Detergent or (if you are trying to brighten your whites) Laundress Whites Detergent.

Very comfy and temperature appropriate for milder climate areas

I purchased my duvet insert and the Belvedere Cover Set a little over a month ago and me and my girlfriend absolutely love it. We've always purchased Egyptian Cotton sheets at ~500tc, so we're no strangers to comfy duvets & covers, but the set I purchased here is next level; you really notice the difference between good quality and luxury, which is what I would call this. I also appreciate that the customer service rep guided me to this All-Season duvet insert vs. the the Ultra-Warm Helix Goose duvet I was originally eyeing, even though it's a cheaper price point. The All-Season is definitely better for milder climates (I live in LA), whereas the Ultra-Warm would be more appropriate for colder areas that receive snow. We are very happy with our purchase, highly recommend.
